No one enjoys lying in a MRI machine or even waiting for an X-ray or a CT scan. In the future, you likely will never have to suffer this inconvenience again. Instead of lying down in a loud tube for 30 to 45 minutes, what if you could place sensor patches on different parts of your body that could collect the same data that could then be relayed to a handheld device or computer? Diagnostic testing would be a much easier and friendlier process. Today, wearable devices can measure your heartrate in real-time and even perform an EKG. At some point in the future, a similar wearable may be able to conduct a full body diagnostic scan with the same ease.
